1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the public AlphaStone website. Private authenticated services may collect additional account and financial information and are governed by the privacy policy presented within those services.
2. Information collected
The public site may collect the following limited information:
- Technical and usage information, such as IP address, browser and device type, referring page, pages visited, and approximate event timing.
- Information you choose to provide by email or through a contact interaction, such as your name, email address, and message.
- Authentication information, such as name, email address, and profile details, if you choose to access the invitation-only login flow through Google.
3. How information is used
Information is used to operate and secure the website, understand aggregate site usage, respond to messages, maintain authenticated sessions, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations. AlphaStone does not sell personal information.
4. Analytics, cookies, and local storage
The site uses Vercel Analytics to understand visits and page usage. Authentication and security features may use cookies or similar browser storage to maintain a session and remember necessary state. Disabling these technologies may prevent some features from working.
5. Service providers and processing locations
Hosting, analytics, authentication, and other technical providers may process limited information on AlphaStone's behalf. These providers include Vercel for hosting and analytics and Google when Google authentication is used. Private payment features may also use Stripe. Information may therefore be processed outside Canada and may be subject to the laws of another jurisdiction.
6. Disclosure
Information may be disclosed to service providers that support the site, when required by law, to protect the site or others from harm, or as part of a business reorganization. Information is not disclosed for unrelated purposes without consent unless permitted or required by law.
7. Retention and safeguards
Personal information is retained only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above or to meet legal obligations. Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used, but no internet service or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
8. Access, correction, and deletion
You may ask what personal information AlphaStone holds about you or request a correction or deletion, subject to legal and operational limits. Requests and privacy questions may be sent to team@alphastone.ai.
9. Policy changes
This policy may be updated as the site or its data practices change. The updated date above identifies the current published version.
